Terms & Conditions

1.The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

2. How to participate: Entry and participation is free. Entry is by commenting you name suggestion on the relevant One Stop Caterpillar post on the One Stop Facebook/Twitter/Instagram pages using the hashtag #OneStopNameTheCake. One Stop will shortlist its two favourite names. When choosing the winners, the judges will be looking for the most interesting and creative name, most likely beginning with the letter ‘C’. A poll will then be posted on Facebook on 15th March 2019 asking customers to vote for the winning name.

3. Your entry must be your own work, must not be copied and must not otherwise be obscene, defamatory or in breach of any applicable legislation or regulations. If we have reason to believe your entry is not your own work or we consider it to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, cruel or fraudulent or infringe on the rights on copyright of others, we will not consider it and it will be immediately disqualified.

4. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

5. You must not create multiple Twitter, Facebook or Instagram accounts in order to enter the promotion more than once per person. Anyone found using multiple accounts to enter the promotion will be found in breach of these terms and excluded from the promotion.

6. The starting date of the competition is 10.00am on Friday 8th March 2019. Closing Date for this prize promotion is 10.00am on Tuesday 12th March 2019 and any entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted by the Promoter.

7. Winning name will be subject to trade mark searches and will be confirmed once cleared.

8. Any name needs full clearance by One Stop Convenience Stores prior to any launch.

9. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any applicant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the applicant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within the rules on the One Stop website.

12. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.

14. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook/or Twitter. You are providing your information to the Promoter, not Facebook/or Twitter. By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to give Facebook/or Twitter a complete release from any and all legal liability in connection with the Promotion.
