Foster’s lager is the definition of easy-going, crowd-pleasing refreshment, designed for those moments when you want to unwind, laugh, and raise a can with mates. Born in the Australian sunshine and a UK classic for decades, Foster’s pours a shimmering golden colour and welcomes you with subtle aromas of white bread malt and hints of fruit. The flavour is gentle and subtly sweet, marked by a balanced malt character and the lightest drizzle of vanilla, rolling into a clean, crisp finish that never outstays its welcome.
Brewed since 1888 and a cherished staple in the UK, Foster’s is assembled from only the essentials: water, malted barley, barley, glucose syrup, hops, and hop extract. With each 568ml pint can offering a manageable 3.7% ABV and 33 calories per 100ml, this lager proves you don’t have to give up flavour for an easy session. The 4 × 568ml pack is ideal for chilling in the fridge, enjoying at home, or sharing a refreshing pint with mates. Best enjoyed chilled, Foster’s brings that unmistakable Aussie spirit to every occasion, ensuring every sip is light, sociable, and refreshing. Foster’s, good call.
Founded by William and Ralph Foster in 1888, Foster’s quickly made a name for itself in its home city of Melbourne. Replacing the colonial ales that the poms had brought with them, Aussies loved the crisp taste and ice-cold refreshment that Foster’s beer provided. In fact, keeping the beer cold was the top priority for William and Ralph. 1888 was a scorcher of the summer, and the hot temperatures and bush fires were a constant threat to the city of Melbourne – and the locals’ new favourite beer. The solution? The brothers built 6 miles of pipeline to keep their lager chilled with sea water, and even set up their own fire brigade to protect their precious brewery. In 2025, we sold over 131 million pints of FOSTER’S lager.
