We care about cyber security, and it’s critical that we protect our data and systems. You’ll receive specific cyber security training and real projects to work on, so you can develop your skills and knowledge. You’ll work as part of a cyber security team, collaborating with, and learning from a range of specialists across group.
Our cyber security team protect our organisation. We use the latest technologies to increase visibility and protection of systems, services, and data. To do this, we need to stay ahead of the latest threats and continuously improve our tooling, procedures and processes. We work collaboratively with our software and systems engineering teams to support security throughout the development lifecycle. We also build proactive monitoring and responses to security events. You’ll develop a broad knowledge of cyber security, completing placements across a range of security functions from security operations to vulnerability management, security testing, and monitoring and capability. You’ll have the opportunity to work on incident response, security platforms, cyber assurance and much more. You’ll also contribute to a global cyber defence effort by evaluating, securing systems, and responding to incidents.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for graduates who want to be part of a cross-functional and diverse team. While it’s not essential you have a degree in computer science or a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subject, you must be able to demonstrate your technical ability and a passion for cyber security. This is assessed during the application process.

Working at our Head Office
At Head Office, you’ll find our canteen that serves hot & cold food along with having Costa available. We also have a wellbeing room where you can take time out to reflect or take some quiet time out. Along with our Prayer Room for colleagues to use whenever they like to throughout the day.
Your experience with us
Welcome
We’ll kick off with you spending some time learning more about our business and your programme. It’s a great opportunity for you to meet other graduates and make some new connections. We’ll then introduce you to your team, so you can get to know more about your role and the area you’ll be working in.


Store & Distribution experience
You’ll start off by spending 4 weeks in stores and 2 weeks in distribution, this is a great opportunity to really understand and get involved in what our colleagues do every day to serve our customers and communities.
Programme structure
You’ll gain a breadth of technology experience and skills as you complete a number of placements in different parts of our Department.
