Christmas Craft Ideas

With the Christmas season upon us what better way to get in the festive spirit than with some Christmas craftsFrom homemade Christmas tree decorations to a delicious gingerbread house we’ve got plenty of fun craft activities that the whole family can get involved in to make this Christmas that little bit more special. 

1.Paper Christmas Trees  

Have a go at these paper Christmas trees, all you need is some scissors, coloured paper and glue. Start by cutting out some triangle shapes with green coloured card, next choose another coloured card and cut out some small circles (these will be your baubles). Assemble your card and glue it all together so it resembles a Christmas tree. Why not finish your Christmas tree off and cut out a star for the top? 

2. Christmas Tree Decorations  

We all love decorating the Christmas tree, whether you have a real or a faux tree, spruce it up by adding your own DIY decorations. All you need is some coloured fabric or felt, ribbon and creativity! Cut out some festive shapes from your materials, punch a small hole and attach some ribbon then find the perfect spot to hang it on your tree. We can’t wait to see what you come up with. 

3.Gingerbread House  

Why not have a go at making your own gingerbread house? The kids will love to get involved, they get use their creativity, get messy and eat it! Be sure to share your gingerbread house creations with us on Instagram or Facebook and we’ll reshare them to our story.  

4.Christmas Cards  

Instead of buying your Christmas cards this year why not make your ownThey’re simple to make and your family and friends will love them. All you need is some coloured card and glue, you could get even more creative and add sparkles and glitter. Get as creative as you want! 

5.Festive gift wrapping  

Make your presents look extra special this year by showing off your gift-wrapping skills. After wrapping your gifts why not add some ribbon and festive shapes to make your presents stand out under the tree.
