Halloween Find Henry The Ghost Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. The prize promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) aged 18 years or over except employees (and their immediate families including any live-in partner or household member) of One Stop Convenience Stores, Franchise colleagues and Element London, as well as their representatives or agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. 
  1. How to participate: Entry and participation is free. Enter by clicking on the banner on www.onestop.co.uk, advertised URL or QR code to access an external microsite: https://one-stop-stores.campaign.playable.com/halloween-2026. Click through to the ‘Find Henry The Ghost’ game. You are presented with a selection of 3 mystery doors and must choose which one you believe the ghost is hiding behind. If you select the correct door, you will be automatically taken to a ‘winner’ page and entered into a prize draw for a chance to win. If you select the door without the ghost behind, you will automatically be taken to a ‘loser’ page. Participants can enter once daily for the duration of the competition. All participants will be offered the chance to complete a registration form and be entered into a prize draw to win the prize. 
  1. By participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions 
  1. The starting date of the overall prize promotion is 19th October 2026 at 9:00am. Overall closing date for this prize promotion is 31st October 2026 at 11.59pm and any entries received after the closing date will not be accepted by the Promoter.  
  1. There is one overall prize which consists of:    
  • A Castle Sleepover 
  • Prize package for 2 adults and 2 children (under 16s) includes: ·        
  • Travel allowance of £40 per adult, £20 per child  
  • 1 night’s accommodation at a UK Castle, based on sharing a themed-family room     
  • Breakfast 
  • Entry to Castle and Dungeon 
  • Family dinner at a popular restaurant, up to the maximum value of £100 
  • Winner management 

Prize is for 2 adults aged 18 or over and 2 children under the age of 16, all residing in the UK 

Prize includes a £40 travel allowance per adult and £20 per child; travel allowance will be provided as a bank transfer or pre-paid card; non-transferable and non-refundable, no cash alternative 

Prize includes 1 night’s accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children at a UK castle in a themed-family room on a bed and breakfast basis; location and provider will be confirmed by Element London; winner must present a valid credit or debit card at check-in to guarantee any incidental charges 

Dinner for the family will be provided at a popular restaurant up to the maximum value of £100; any additional costs, tips or alcohol are the responsibility of the winner 

Prize includes entry to the Castle and Dungeon for all four guests; experiences are subject to availability and operating dates and may be amended or substituted if necessary; any alternative will be of equal or greater value 

All elements of the prize are subject to availability at the time of booking 

Prize excludes all additional costs and expenses not explicitly stated, including but not limited to travel beyond the allowance, car parking charges, insurance, additional meals, drinks, gratuities and personal expenses 

Travel must be completed within 12 months of winner notification 

Blackout dates apply, including Christmas, New Year, Easter Sunday, school and public holidays 

Once a booking is confirmed, no changes, cancellations or transfers can be made 

Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative; if the winner is unable to accept the prize for any reason, the prize will be forfeited 

In the event any part of the prize becomes unavailable, Element London reserves the right to substitute it with an alternative of equal or greater value 

Participants and guests must adhere to current government guidelines and venue-specific safety measures in place at the time of travel 

Winner and guests must ensure they are in good health to participate in the experience; Element London accepts no responsibility for any health-related issues arising from participation 

UK residency is required for prize fulfilment; official photo ID may be required for check-in and entry

  1. Prize winners will be selected after the closing date via a secure, independently verified prize draw by One Stop Stores Ltd and the prize will be fulfilled by Element London. The email provided will be used to validate the winning entries. Winners of the prize will be informed by email and asked to provide additional details within 7 days to facilitate the delivery of their prize. If One Stop Stores Ltd have not received these details within these 7 days, new winners will be selected in accordance with the terms and conditions. 
  1. The Prize Provider is Element London and will send out the prizes to the winners as soon as possible. By partaking you accept that Winners’ data will be shared with Element London in order to fulfil the prize. 
  1. By entering the prize promotion, you hereby warrant that all the information submitted by you in your application is true. 
  1. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions. 
  1. Players may play enter as many times as they like, however only one entry per person/registration/email/mobile number will be considered for each prize draw. 
  1. If any winner is unable for whatever reason to accept the prize(s) then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize(s) to another participant selected in accordance with the promotion rules. 
  1. Submission of entries and proof of sending will not constitute proof of receipt. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries that the Promoter does not receive. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Illegible, incomplete, late or defaced entries will be disqualified. 
  1. The winners’ surname and County can be requested by sending an email to brand@onestop.co.uk within 1 month of the Closing Date. If you are a winner and don’t agree to this, or otherwise wish to limit the information that we make available, please contact us via this email address. However, the Promoter shall provide the surname and county of the winners to competent authorities upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority) 
  1. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues. 
  1. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the prize promotion.  
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any applicant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the applicant has breached any of these terms and conditions.  
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize promotion at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within the terms and conditions on the One Stop website.
