One Stop Store Manager makes Beverly town smile! 

Convenience retailer, One Stop Stores, are truly embedded within the communities they serve and are proud to make a difference to those who live within them  – and One Stop’s Flemingate, Beverly store certainly live by this.  

Store Manager, Kayleigh James makes it her mission to get her customers smiling every day. From creating gratitude cards to crafting bags of sweets, Kayleigh’s random acts of kindness is known around the town of Beverly.  

Kayleigh, who has been Store Manager at One Stop Flemingate, Beverly for four years, kicked off her one-of-a-kind gestures to brighten up her customers’ days, but to also show her teenage stepdaughter the importance of giving and showing kindness to others.  

The bespoke gratitude cards are filled with a variety of positive messages such as “Have a great day!” “Happiness is enjoying the simple things in life”, “Be yourself everyone is already taken” and “Believe you can, and you are halfway there”.  
 
The bags of sweet treats are usually made by Kayleigh on a seasonal basis, which are filled with an assortment of themed sweets such as Valentines Day love hearts and Halloween jellies.  

“It’s so rewarding seeing customers smile, it really does show you that it’s the little things make the biggest difference. You never know what kind of day our customers are having, so if I can make their day that little bit brighter, it makes my day too!” said Kayleigh. 

Kayleigh also represents Beverly as One Stop’s community champion, helping to support the town’s local charities.  

One Stop’s Community and Partnerships manager, Jack Taylor said: “It’s amazing that our colleagues take the time to think about their communities and put them first, it just shows how much they really do care. Kayleigh is a true asset to the business and we’re so thankful for all the support she provides to her local community”.
