Box for hygienic conditioning in a microwave oven

Usage: – Before first use place in boiling water for 5 minutes, use sufficient water to avoid damage. For hygiene reasons, before each further use, first clean thoroughly using mild washing up liquid and then sterilise. We recommend using a Nuk Steriliser for sterilisation. – For hygiene reasons: after cleaning and/or sterilisation, press out any residual liquid from the mouthpiece and leave the soother to dry afterwards. – Do not clean the soother in a dishwasher as detergents can damage the product. – For hygienic treatment in the microwave: Firstly, fill the pacifier box with water up to the bottom line of the marking. Then, insert the pacifier into the water in the box. To ensure even heating, and to avoid material damage, place the box off-centre on the microwave turntable. IMPORTANT: Heat the closed box for 4 minutes at the power level/wattage engraved onto the box. Please also follow the microwave manufacturer’s instructions. Leave microwave closed for another 5 min. Warning: risk of scalding remains, even after 5 min! If quantity of water, time or wattage are incorrect, this may damage the product! Empty out any water remaining. Leave soothers to dry in the open box. Check that the soothers are not still too hot before use! Keep soother box out of the reach of children. Suitable for Nuk soothers only. – For Latex soother: Produced from natural latex rubber. – Please retain product information and article/Lot no. for future use.

For your child’s safety WARNING! – Inspect carefully before each use. Pull the soother in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. – Please check the teat, especially if your child is teething. Some children bite down on the teat so hard that it gets damaged or even severed. If need be, please offer your baby teethers. – Only use dedicated soother holders tested to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a soother, your child may be strangled by them. – Do not leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave soother in sterilising solution for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the soother. – In rare individual cases children manage to put the soother into the mouth completely. In such an event, DO NOT PANIC! Due to its special design, the soother cannot be swallowed and the two aspiration holes ensure sufficient breathing. Remove the soother from the child’s mouth as gently as possible. – Do not dip the soother in medicine or sweet substances and do not lick the soother. Both can cause caries (tooth decay) to your child. – For reasons of safety and hygiene, replace the soother after 1-2 months use. This is very important, as even without visible damage the stability of the soother may have been weakened. – For soother with cover: To avoid suffocation, keep the removable protection for the soother away from children.
