Tesco Cheese Sauce 350g

A creamy sauce made with extra mature Cheddar cheese and Dijon mustard.

Cooking Instructions: For best results microwave heat. Break tab on rim by twisting end of spoon behind tab. Caution When removing lid after heating hot steam may escape. Take care when removing and pouring as product will be hot. This container may soften slightly but will regain strength on standing. Important Not suitable for heating from frozen on the hob. Check food is steaming hot throughout before serving. Microwave: 800W 3 mins 30 secs/900W 3 mins. Remove lid, place lid loosely back on to the pot and place pot on a microwaveable plate. Heat on full power and stir halfway through heating. Leave to stand for 2 minutes after heating. Stir before serving. Microwave: 800W 6 mins/900W 6 mins 30 secs. Remove lid, place lid loosely back on to the pot and place pot on a microwaveable plate. Heat on full power and stir halfway through heating. Leave to stand for 2 minutes after heating. Stir before serving. Hob: 4-5 mins. Empty contents into a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally until steaming hot. Do not allow to boil.

Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 2 days and by ‘use by’ date shown. Suitable for freezing, Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by ‘use by’ date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted, do not refreeze. For use by: see lid.
