TOFFEE CRISP® was created in 1963 thanks to John Henderson, the great-nephew of the toffee king himself, John Mackintosh! Inspired by a cake his wife Edith made for their kids, the first version featured crispy rice pieces and decadent chocolate cake. After a few tasty tweaks, the oozy caramel layer was added and the new and improved treat was born!
