Crispy Chicken Goujons

4tbsp plain flour
1 large egg, beaten
Chicken fillets, cut into strips
- Preheat the oven to 190. In separate shallow bowls, place the breadcrumbs seasoned to taste, beaten egg and flour.
- Dip the chicken in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally coat in the breadcrumbs. Lay the chicken on a greased baking tray. (The process is easier if you keep one hand clean of egg for dipping the chicken in the flour and breadcrumbs.)
- Bake in the oven for 30-35, turning once. Remove from the oven when cooked thoroughly and golden brown all over.
