4tbsp plain flour
150g breadcrumbs
1 large egg, beaten

  1. Preheat the oven to 190. In separate shallow bowls, place the breadcrumbs seasoned to taste, beaten egg and flour.
  2. Dip the chicken in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally coat in the breadcrumbs. Lay the chicken on a greased baking tray. (The process is easier if you keep one hand clean of egg for dipping the chicken in the flour and breadcrumbs.)
  3. Bake in the oven for 30-35, turning once. Remove from the oven when cooked thoroughly and golden brown all over.
