Best of British
Our Best of British products ensure fair price for farmers and quality for customers
__________________________________________________________________________________________
We’re actively supporting British farmers by stocking a comprehensive range of high-quality British products.
Supporting British farmers is a priority for our stores across the UK, meaning that we get a fair price for farmers produce and our customers can rest assured that the food in our stores is of the freshest and highest quality possible.
Our Own Label food range is sourced from trusted British suppliers and we also stock British milk and potatoes, meaning local farmers are being supported, yet prices remain excellent value. We are delighted to offer our customers exceptional quality but without the large price tag. The fresh meat and potatoes grown and supplied to us mean our Own Label products give customers British meals from British fields. There are 450 Own Label products currently available with plans to expand the range across the fresh and grocery lines throughout 2019.
Transparent and long-term relationships are being built with our suppliers thanks to our Fair for Farmers Guarantee. The Guarantee explains how every own label pint of milk sold in our stores is 100% British and provides information on the fair price paid to dairy farmers. Our farmers are outstanding in their field and we’re dedicated in giving them the support they deserve. One Stop milk is still great value and our Fair for Farmers Guarantee means that every dairy farmer is paid a fair price for the milk produced on their farm, and that, in turn means that every cow is well cared for.
We’re also proud that many of our lines now bear the Red Tractor symbol, meaning that customers can be confident that our meat is traceable, safe and responsibly farmed and reared, and is prepared and packed in the UK.
Sustainability is crucial to ensure the ongoing success of British produce. We work with sustainable farmers across the UK to grow and transport high-quality potatoes from their local patch to your local store. Strutt and Parker Farms is just one of our hard-working, dedicated and trusted growers that we work with.

As the retail landscape changes and evolves, provenance, along with quality and price, is now more important than ever to our customers. We have a focus on being the best store for customers in their neighbourhoods and our quality products help us to achieve this. We trust in British produce and have a desire to support our farmers, so we are proud to stock the best of these products in our stores and, in turn, support British producers with fair prices.
